Introduction
Tatham, Lancashire is in the
Lower Lune Valley Ward of Lancaster City Council. With an electorate
of 329 it covers an area of 3,939 hectares on the northern slopes of the
Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is 9 miles long and
3 miles wide.
Near the southern boundary
is the highest point in the parish, White Hill at 544 metres (1784ft) above
sea level.
